Known for introducing uber-talented artists to the music industry, including his own offsprings (Beyonce & Solange), Mathew Knowles prepares to deliver on that order. The music mogul found phenomenal success grooming and managing the mega group Destiny’s Child. He has now helped develop and mentored the fresh new T.O.D.,a harmonically blended hip-hop and R&B duo (est. 2017) and they are using them to mix fiery rhymes and hooks reminiscent of the 90’s hip-hop era— but with a trendy twist. Their debut single is fresh sound; one that reveals the sharp versatility of blending a passionate rapper with a sultry, powerhouse vocalist.

 

Comprised of Sunni & Tali, together they present something indeed fresh, yet reminiscent of favorites like TLC and Salt-N-Pepa. Sunni, a Woodland Hills, California native moved to Houston at age 6 and quickly found a passion for writing rhymes and poetry, while heavily influenced by artists like Mc Lyte, Lauryn Hill, and Tupac. Tali, a Houston native, incorporates her Colombian roots throughout her lyrics and style while complementing the rap with her vocal prowess. The two together have traveled to over 35 cities on a radio promo tour. The power-house duo has also been the opening act for platinum artist Sevyn Streeter on her “Girl Disrupted” tour. They have been featured on TheShaderoom, HipHop Weekly, TheSource and many more blogs and podcasts over the southern region.
